We are currently recruiting the following Customer Quality Engineer position for our client, a leader in the Automotive industry in Markham, ON: Position: Customer Quality Engineer Location: Markham, ONSalary: $70,000 - $80,000 Duration: Permanent Full Time position - Unionized company Position Overview: • Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree • 3+ years experience in a customer quality role in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure, in a timely manner. • Ability to lead and work in teams. • Lead engineering teams in resolving quality issues using tools such as Root Cause Analysis and 8-Discipline problem solving reports, interfacing with design as appropriate. • Use tools such as APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, QC instructions, SPC, PPAP, SREA and associated production programs. • PPAP documentation approvals through the Customer Portal when applicable. • Support TS16949 compliance and auditing efforts.
