Your new role
Your new employer are seeking to recruit ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyors to support the various teams and work on our design and consultancy projects within the sector. It is intended that the role will offer the opportunity to progress your career as your experience grows within their business. You will be working alongside a range of other passionate and committed team members that will support you every step of the way. In your new role, you will be tasked with a range of duties such as preparation of budget estimates, cost plans and tender documentation. You will prepare contract, arrange post-contract valuations, and negotiate final accounts. You could be involved in project management also, helping to deliver the clients objects and char meetings and attend site progress meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
You should have solid experience already of surveying with a degree in this area and be either chartered or close to achieving this. You will need to have excellent IT skills along with exceptional customer service skills, a proactive approach to your work and an enthusiasm to succeed. You should know how to clearly prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and have a good all round attention to detail.
