Due to significant growth McAleer & Rushe are giving a Site Engineer the opportunity to join their elite operational team on eye catching new build projects.
Your new role
Due to continual growth in a demanding market place the company have a requirement for a Site Engineer to be based on a variety of high-rise projects.
Applicants must have extensive knowledge of engineering and supervising on a variety of projects and structures (incl. RC and structural steel), working to demanding schedules whilst maintaining a focus on materials and plant scheduling. As a Site Engineer you will be expected to have technical knowledge interpreting drawings, liaising with the Project Manager and Contracts Managers, Directors and supervising subcontractors. You will be involved with the design and build of the project and be required to adapt to change if needed.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Site Engineer you will have strong communication skills and be able to express requirements to direct staff including junior engineers, sub-contractors, peers, architects and also liaise with statutory bodies in order to lead an effective and efficient team.
Demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer on high valued projects is critical in order to effectively fulfil this role. Also you must have a strong Health & Safety ethos embedded within your working practises.
