We are retained by a leading Manufacturer of RAINWATER MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS who, due to continued success, are seeking to recruit a professional AREA SALES MANAGER to join their team covering the NORTH OF ENGLAND.
An experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK for our Client's drainage products. The ideal candidate will have experience of promoting products within the Civil Engineering and Building Industry and have established contacts with Builders Merchants, Civil Engineering Material Distributors, Key Main and Sub Contractors who are involved in the installation of drainage products.
Proven track record in delivering sales growth within the construction industry.

Northern UK (M62 Corridor to the Scottish borders)
UK Sales Manager, Commercial and Technical Departments at Head Office. Other external sales persons
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Building and developing relationships with key main BUILDERS MERCHANTS, DISTRIBUTORS, CONTRACTORS and ARCHITECTS who are involved in the procurement and installation of surface water drainage products.
Progressing quotations to a conclusion and providing installation advice and identifying and progressing new project opportunities.
Updating the company database and completing electronic reporting procedures in accordance with the company requirements.
Providing feedback from the market on potential opportunities for product development.
Understanding of Civil Engineering and Building Industry routines
Sufficient IT skills to interrogate and update the company's electronic database.
Good organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and on their own initiative and to organise and make product presentations to customers as required.
Able to communicate technical information.
Ability to work to deadlines and understand the need to meet targets.
Able to research, recognise and progress project opportunities
Proven track record in promoting products to the Construction Industry within the UK
Proven results through sales growth.
Clean driving licence.
All necessary training in relevant aspects of our Client's business will be provided
