Private Planning Consultancy with an established team is looking to recruit a Town Planner with 3 years commercial experience working within either the public or private sector. As a company, their experience drives projects forward and provides solid leadership to the Planning process.
Covering a wide range of project disciplines including Volume house builders, Major Land owners, local authorities and government bodies. The need to recruit is due to the large amount of existing work as well as the business pipeline.
To apply the successful Town Planner will have a Degree and/or Masters in Town Planning and a proven track record working on detailed Planning Applications with experience in any of the aforementioned project areas all being of interest. You can come from either the private or public sector and have achieved or be working towards your full RTPI membership.
Joining a specialist planning team you will work in conjunction with an Associate Town Planner and be involved in site appraisals and research and will be liaising directly with the client. A sound understanding of planning legislations and regulations is expected, as well as an ability to work independently and to project deadlines.
In return the successful Town Planner will be afforded the opportunity to progress through the organisation, mentor junior members of the planning team and also working on industry leading projects that will challenge you and give you fantastic planning experience.
