We are currently recruiting for a talented, motivated and ambitious accounts clerk to join our purchase ledger team in our central finance department based in Rugby.
As an accounts clerk - purchase ledger, you will support the supervisors and accounts payable manager to ensure the smooth operation of an effective accounts payable function to the business.
As an accounts clerk - purchase ledger you will process paper e-invoices and credits onto the COINS accounting system and you will arrange approval for payments. You will also be required to deal with telephone and email queries from suppliers and subcontractors and the wider business.
You will have a sound educational background, educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent). Ideally you will have previous experience of accounts payable work, processing a high volume of invoices, processing against purchase orders and costing invoices against difference cost centres or you will have the drive and determination to succeed and progress within a finance role and a fast paced ambitious company.
