My client is a leading Infrastructure specialist with an annual turnover of £130M and a forward order book in the region of £750M.
They have recently been awarded a prestigious 5+ year contract to look after the Infrastructure assets in South East England.
The contracts will operate following the new asset support contract delivery model, which Highways England has decided to abandon in forthcoming procurement in favour of directly controlling maintenance work, employing designers and contractors under separate packages.
They are looking to appoint, on a permanent basis a Utilities Enquiries Assistant to assist with the issue and recording of utilities enquiries to Statutory Undertakers for details their apparatus (with regard to how the apparatus might affect proposed construction or be affected by the works). Providing support to the Programme Delivery Team, this includes general administration duties.
This is a full-time role and the working hours will be 37.5 hours per week.
Including but not limited to;
Sending out initial C2 enquiries to the Utilities Companies
Tracking and recording Utilities responses to these enquiries
General Administration Tasks
Experience and Competencies:
Experience in Administration / Clerical Work
Working knowledge of MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel and Access
Interest in Transportation issues
Experienced in working in an office with a team based approach.
Competent in the use of AutoCAD
Basic AutoCAD skills
Full Clean UK Driving License
Good communications skills, written and oral.
An ability to organise and prioritise own work.
