Senior Consultant (Delay Analysis)|
London / Midlands
£75,000 to £100,000 plus bonus & benefits
We are currently looking to identify a new member of the team for our clients UK dispute advisory and expert witness business to be based out of either London or the Midlands. In particular we are looking to help strengthen their delay analysis and planning department which focuses on claims and arbitrations relating to high value delay and disruption issues.
We are ideally looking for someone with some demonstrable experience of working as a planning claims consultant or expert witness on major high value disputes, or arbitrations. Our client is recognised globally as one of the premier specialist organisations in this field.
•Undertaking and leading fee earning assignments in respect of live and retrospective Planning & Scheduling
•Meeting with clients and client solicitors in connection with dispute related work
•Assisting in the preparation of Expert reports relating to EOT type issues
•Carrying out planning audits and preparing recovery schedules for major projects
•Pursuit or defence of delay claims including: Advising clients on commercial strategy, risks and opportunities (planning related), Developing and writing claim particulars, including necessary factual research)
Qualifications & Experience
•Degree educated and willing to gain further qualifications in Law, Arbitration, Mediation
•Experienced in major projects across infrastructure, building, power, transportation
•Working knowledge of the legal principles, critical path analysis and practice of forensic delay and disruption
•Strong knowledge of national and international industry standard construction contracts
•Competent in one of Primavera P3, P3e / P6 and / or V5/V6
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Someone with an analytical mind and professional approach to their work
