Construction Manager - Quantity Surveyor

My Client is one of the World's leading Construction and Property Consultancies. They operate globally and currently have over 800 employees. They are large enough to service projects on the global stage but still small enough to know their employees and clients personally giving a more intimate feel than its counterparts and this very same value can be felt throughout the business be it as an employee or client anywhere Worldwide.

This organisation works with some of the world's most high-profile developers and enjoys the privileged position of receiving repeat business from a range of clients across a variety of disciplines within the property market, giving their employees the chance to work on some of the world's most exciting projects within the built environment.

Due to a multitude of new commissions with new and existing clients they are seeking a Construction Manager/Contractors QS to take the lead on one of their most exciting London projects. This is a very rare and exciting opportunity for a Construction QS to join this highly reputable International Consultancy. You will be the first Construction Manager taken on in house and will continue to be site based. This is an exciting and pivotal role that would suit an individual that is ready for a change and to really take ownership and lead in this area.

The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified with 10 years' experience inclusive of high end large scale projects, preferably in the residential sector.


•10 years' experience
•Ability to build and lead a team
•Working knowledge of applicable industry standard forms of contract, typically JCT and NEC
•Pre and post contract knowledge
•A proven track record of working on major projects at all stages of a contract.
•Excellent communication skills, and a professional client-facing manner.
Good general commercial awareness.
