System Support Analyst - £25,000 - £27,000 + Benefits Package |
As an established recruitment partner of c. 16 years to this global organisation they have asked us to assist in the search for an analytically minded Systems Support Analyst. The ideal candidate should have strong problem solving skills along with the ability to apply their operational support skills to learn new bespoke applications, systems and tools. They will need to have advanced technical awareness, incident management, problem management expertise which includes configuration troubleshooting and performance tuning of applications, carrying out incident investigations and route cause analysis through to resolution.
As System Support Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the services offered by the Customer Communication Management business unit and will be accountable for successful processing of data within the Production environments.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to supporting the delivery of production processing in line with client SLA's; defining and managing working practices in line with goals of efficiency and quality in accordance with ISO 9001; ensuring that applications and their support is undertaken based on CCM Operational standards, are executed in line with the CCM process and delivered within the requested timescales; supporting the compliance of PCI/DSS standards; supporting high availability service by keeping mission critical applications up and running; providing 2nd level support for CCM Production services; analysing incidents and possible workarounds to restore service as quickly as possible.
■ 5+ years industry experience in operational support roles
■ 2+ year's experience with high change volume and high availability environments
■ Proven technical knowledge in problem resolution and incident escalation
■ Proven problem solving skills focused on quick outage recovery and root cause analysis
■ Experience with scheduling activities
■ Skills in configuration troubleshooting and performance tuning of applications
■ Understanding of BCP and audit activities required on operational service beneficial
■ Experience of working in a document composition environment
■ Experience with OS related programming
■ Experience with environment using ITIL best practices
■ Understanding of Service Operations methodologies and processes
■ Understanding of DEV/OPS approach
This is a permanent position based in Luton, Bedfordshire, Monday - Friday working between 7:00am - 7:00pm on the following rota basis:
* 7.00am -3.30pm
* 9.00am -17.30pm
* 10.30am -7.00pm
