Brook Street working in Partnership with Microsoft are recruiting for an Internal Territory Account Manager - Public Sector to be based at the Microsoft Office in Edinburgh

To drive the widespread adoption of Microsoft technologies in the Local and Regional Government market whilst maximising our customers' satisfaction with the products and services provided by Microsoft.

A Local and Regional Government (LRG) Inside Territory Manager has primary responsibility for working with the Microsoft Account Executive and other members of the virtual team to drive customer engagements, promote Microsoft solutions and deliver great customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Based at Microsoft Office in Edinburgh the role will be a combination of Field and Inside Sales. An estimated split 20:80 meeting with customers. The successful candidate will be able to utilize the Microsoft Partner Network to drive engagement and scale across the Scottish Territory but where needed to engage directly face to face with customers.

* Business support for the regional Account Executive
* Demand Generation of New Business opportunities, with specific focus against our key priority workloads for FY16.
* Ownership, management and timely execution of the Enterprise Agreement Anniversaries.
* Forecast management and pipeline accuracy.
* Partner engagement and management for the territory.

The LRG Team is responsible for revenue growth, increasing customer and partner satisfaction and winning against competition in the LRG marketplace while continuing to improve Microsoft's image and reputation in LRG and wider government circles.

Experience Requirements:

* Demonstrable solution sales experience
* Experience in successfully building and maintaining sustainable long term relationships based on trust, commitment and shared gain.
* Strong knowledge of application, solution and major project selling
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the Market, the IT industry and Microsoft's competitors

1 Technical /Functional Skills

* Strong business skills dealing at a senior level within customers and partners
* Ideally, candidates will have completed formal solution sales training
* Good level of technical awareness

1 Personal Attributes

* Self-motivated with the ability to influence, inspire and bring others with you.
* Able to rapidly assimilate information, plan and drive for short and longer term objectives.
* An excellent presenter/communicator. Much time is spent presenting the Microsoft LRG value proposition case to customers and partners in 1:1 and 1: many situations.
* Creative/Entrepreneurial - able to think strategically and laterally and develop new and innovative ideas about how Microsoft can approach the LRG market with partners
