ICT Operations Manager - Fixed Term 18 Months - Hatfield|
Main purpose of the job:
ICT Operations Manager to manage the development and delivery of resilient, reliable and cost effective ICT operational services (Helpdesk, Desktop, Servers, Email, Network and Security) to the EMEA region and project management of the Windows 10 upgrade project.
ICT Operations Manager Main duties/responsibilities:
Manage the regional ICT Helpdesk, Technical Support, Network and Security Teams. Maintain ICT operational services to agreed quality and service delivery standards (ICT SLAs) through performance monitoring and reporting.
Manage third party ICT service providers ensuring delivery is in line with contracted service levels. Ensure the ICT Infrastructure environment is maintained in a qualified state in accordance with ITIQ standards and related procedures.
Maintain a service management environment based on the ITIL framework.
Lead the design of improved cost effective infrastructure technical solutions that provide added value to the business and improve the overall service.
Deliver a planned programme of infrastructure projects on time that meet the required objectives. Represent the region on global technical teams to ensure that regional infrastructure services integrate effectively with global systemsother parts of Eisai to whom we and within European IT related degree.
Tools and equipment used:
Microsoft Office, Project, Visio.
ICT Operations Manager working relationships:
Reports to the Director, EMEA ICT Business Solutions. Works on regional and global projects. Maintains a good working relationship with key service providers, suppliers and procurement specialists.
Qualifications and education required:
Degree or equivalent;
Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent (preferred).
Management, Project Management and IT Operations experience;
Previous experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is an advantage.
Travel - Occasional to client`s other office in the USA etc
