Our client, a highly successful organisation on the verge of a major digital transformation, is seeking an innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their executive leadership team.
The company provide a range of innovative financial solutions and, as demand for their services continues to grow, it is essential that their digital offering is effectively modernised.
You will join, and take responsibility for building, a newly established technical team in Edinburgh City Centre, as well as managing key supplier relationships. As such, you should have substantial experience of leading technical teams, be highly familiar with all aspects of the Development Life Cycle, and demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills.
Ultimately, the Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT platforms which are capable of facilitating major products launches and a significant increase in online transactions, while providing necessary assurances to investors and the Board.
While our client is an established organisation with offices throughout the UK, the ideal candidate will have an 'entrepreneurial' outlook, and significant experience in start-ups, rapidly expanding SMEs, or on multiple greenfield projects.
Key Skills & Experience:
** Extensive experience of IT leadership - particularly digital transformations
** A proven ability to develop and implement digital/technical strategies
** Technical knowledge encompassing the MS stack (.Net, C#, etc.)
** Experience in start-ups or growing SMEs
