My client is a Leading International Civil Engineering and Construction Contractor with an estimated annual turnover in the region of £130M, they specialise in the following areas;
Water & Wastewater
Energy & Power
Oil & Gas
They undertake major projects, bespoke individual projects and are part of several established frameworks.
They are looking to appoint, on a freelance/contract basis, an experienced Site Agent that is capable of running a £11m steel frame constructed building in Oxfordshire.
This is a Greenfield site and will suit a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering that will be able to manage piling, rc works, holding down bolts for steel frame building, access roads, external works and manage the cladding sub contract package and fit out.
You are likely to come from a civil engineering (site engineer or foreman background) with proven experience of managing projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities will include overall responsibility and management of foreman, site engineer, labour and sub-contractors. Reporting to a visiting contracts/project manager.
Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
Delivery of works to program & budget
Pre-start site inspections
Tool box talks & HSEQ briefings
Be capable of successfully planning and organising a £11 million.
Manage the team of engineers and foreman to deliver the Construction Work
HND/Degree in civil engineering preferable
CSCS Black/Platinum Card
This role will be subject to Disclosure Scotland checks to pass Magnox Security
A long term role due for completion in July 2018.
