This role is for an ERP Consultant or Sage 200 Consultant who has experience implementing software into manufacturing companies - it is based in the Midlands with local travel, and a salary of up to £40k plus car allowance, and a good holiday allowance is on offer.|
This privately owned, small software reseller have established themselves as a very successful Sage manufacturing consultancy. They have over 100 clients, mainly in the Midlands, that run Sage 200, Sage 50 and Sage Manufacturing software. Often the projects will be working with small manufacturing companies who are doing specialist engineering work, with an average of between 2 -4 users at Sage 50 sites and 10 - 30 users at Sage 200 sites.
As a Sage 200 Consultant you will work through the entire project life cycle from pre-sales, through taking the business requirements from your clients', running workshops and doing the scoping. You will train the clients' staff, configure the systems, implement the software and run the go-live, hand-hold during the process, train the users and deal with post go-live support and issues.
A background in manufacturing is essential, so that you will be able to relate to the clients and their business processes. You will work on a wide variety of projects including manufacturing, commercials, financials, Business Intelligence, Spindle, Sage Report Designer, Sage CRM and others.
You will have complete autonomy to work on projects and be able to organise your work load and your own diary.
Ideally you will have Sage 200 software implementation experience, within a manufacturing environment or working with manufacturing clients'. But, alternatively, you could be working with another manufacturing ERP software product doing the implementations and will be keen to learn and cross train to Sage 200 software.
They want someone who is friendly, personable and versatile with a professional outlook and great communication skills. You should be well organised and self-motivated and happy scheduling your own work and diary.
