General Foreman - London
We are looking for a General Foreman with Fit-Out experience to join our civil engineering team on-site at Mile End to work on our Crossrail C360 project. Contract C360 comprises the construction of intermediate shafts at Eleanor Street and Mile End Park. The shafts will provide ventilation, maintenance access, emergency egress & emergency services access of the operating railway.

  • Oversee own labour and subcontractors on site and construction of the works to specification and to programme

  • Ensure that details of the safe systems of work developed are communicated to all who will carry out or may be affected by the operation and that the systems are implemented to achieve Target Zero approach to safety

  • Ensure that all machinery, plant, equipment, portable tools and electrical systems are properly installed, regularly inspected and maintained in good condition to minimise environmental damage or pollution and safeguard employees Health and Safety and that adequate records are maintained

  • Assist in the production of Risk Assessments Method Statements

  • Involved in planning for 4 week look ahead programme and collaborative planning for key activities  
We’re looking for  


  • 3 day First Aid trained

  • NVQ 3  leading to NVQ 6 site management  

  • Ideally Lifting operations Appointed person

  • Fit Out experience
