Define a clear communication channel with the design teams to exchange information effectively .
Represent the WHS team at customer query meetings and be critical in the resolution of these queries.
Encourage the documentation of interface information within the current interface trackers to allow a formal sign-off of information that supports design reviews.
Work with the design teams to plan the FAT, HAT and SAT testing for all components (testing should be driven from the requirements). Test plans are required for DDRs.
Work with the WHS requirements lead to resolve requirements questions and assist in the generation of compliance and evidence statements against requirements.
Liaise with the Successor systems team and project teams to understand the scope of systems deliverables requiring design team input, and assist in generation of these deliverables.
Coordinate the efforts of the design teams with respect to alignment of the WHS and produced whatever documentation is required to support them to achieve a satisfactory solution.
Communicate constantly with the design teams to ensure they have all the information they need to complete their designs.
Complete interface trackers for both internal and external interfaces associated with the WHS .
A test plan of all testing to be carried out at FAT, HAT and SAT for the WHS .
An overarching WHS alignment document (if required) .
Any specific customer deliverables (outside of attribute data information) that need design team support.
Required Experience /Qualification /Attributes:
Possess knowledge of the WHS and ideally the wider WHLS and SSE systems
An understanding of requirements engineering
Possess a good working relationship with members of the current WHS team
Be able to take an holistic approach to all tasks
Have experience of component and system testing
Proficient in documenting and recording design decisions and task activities
Demonstrate logical and pragmatic problem solving abilities
Exhibit excellent communication skills both oral and written
Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
Willingness to learn new skills
Ideally qualified to degree level in a technical discipline
Knowledge and experience in the effective use of Engineering tools and techniques
Ability to create effective working relationships
Ability to communicate at all levels within the business
Must be eligible for SC Security Clearance
