Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant with an active Top Secret clearance for immediate employment for Arlington, VA with the project site being located in Quantico, VA. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

Our B P team is leading the industry with visionary and forward-thinking projects such as the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA; Liberty Park at the World Trade Center, New York, NY; the Lower Manhattan Coastal Resilience (Big U), NY; and the LA 2024 Olympic bid.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
  • Provides office and clerical support including preparation of correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and slide presentations, receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents, and related duties including entering documents into project SharePoint sites
  • Provides administrative assistance with regards to supplies/purchases and maintains supply room
  • Works with AECOM vendors to support the office
  • Prepares and maintain files in accordance with project procedures
  • Maintains the final project archive documents per client and AECOM requirements
  • Assists in special reports as requested by B P Business Unit staff and Project Team
  • Assists Facilities Manager and/or Unit Chief with day-to-day operations
  • Back-up for ordering of supplies for office

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 6 years' experience
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
  • Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance at the time of hire (DoD or DoJ)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Well-spoken, possess excellent customer and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure or with meeting deadlines
  • Proven follow-up skill set, with ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently with little or no supervision
  • Experience scheduling, setting up and breaking down meetings
  • Good organizational skills
  • Willing to work in an environment where there may be lulls with workload
  • Willing to work in Client's office location

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in an office with government customer
  • Experience with making travel arrangements and reconciling expense reports a plus
  • Typing 50-55 wpm a plus
  • Candidates currently residing in the DC Metro area preferred
