About the Business Line
Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client's unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner's representation to our clients around the globe.
The Vice President, Communications for AECOM's Construction Services group will proactively build, implement and measure high-impact internal and external communication plans to advance the company's and the CS group's key global initiatives.
Based in New York City and reporting to the First VP of Strategy and Communications, activities will include media relations, crisis communications, awards, affiliations, employee engagement, digital services and integration activities across CS. Will also collaborate with Enterprise Communications and Marketing Communications teams across the organization, as well as cross-functionally with other Construction Services departments (e.g., Marketing, Legal and Human Resources).
The successful candidate will be an accomplished communications leader and solutions-oriented project manager with proven record of success whose style must add value to the organization.
This is a management position for an individual with a proven track record in strategic communications development and execution. This individual must be comfortable working in a matrix organization and successfully exhibit strong influencing skills, political astuteness and business acumen so as to be seen as a trusted adviser to their internal and external partners. Communication and Communications Management
Experience within the construction industryBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, PR or related discipline; Master's degree preferred
