Job Description:

This position is responsible for resolving and/or facilitating corrections for transaction exceptions between our customer and the clients Inventory System and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure the two systems are in sync on a transactional level. The position is also responsible for identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions in order to prevent future occurrences. The successful candidate is a highly motivated, self-directed individual capable of multi-tasking with a high level of personal and professional ethics. Responsibilities: Review daily transaction logs detailing outstanding exceptions Track exceptions to their root cause in multiple systems and define the corrective action required to facilitate resolution. Confirm that the corrective action was successful Through root cause analysis develop procedural improvements to reduce future exceptions Develop relationships with internal and external customers to ensure smooth information flow Work closely with internal and external customers to resolve exceptions and determine appropriate corrective action plans Gain a strong knowledge of multiple systems (Scancode and Oracle) and how they interact Build a strong understanding of all processes, both physical and systemic, to be able to troubleshoot exceptions and determine necessary process changes Adhere to best practices, processes and methodologies, and provide feedback for continuous improvement goals Ensure all processes are documented in an SOP and updated as they change Perform other duties/projects/reports assigned by management Qualifications: Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Engineering or Business Administration (preferred)2 years proven experience as either a business, inventory or logistics analyst, preferably in a 3PL environment Proven ability to create, manage and maintain strong customer relationships Solutions oriented with excellent creative problem solving skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Access, Excel and Word Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP (preferred) A strong working knowledge of WMS Strong communicator with a demonstrated ability to work in a team based environment, capable of working effectively with all levels within an organization from warehouse team member to senior management Excellent verbal and written communications skills
