The primary objective is to maximize the online sales through effective merchandising and inventory management of the site. RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and analyze daily and weekly stock and sales reports using Excel pivot tables and macros to present in weekly managers meetings - providing insightful commercial analysis to maximize sales and minimize any risks associated with a change of trend and client demandIdentify opportunities for reorder, stock movement and management to meet customer demand. Act on these opportunities and put forward suggested action plansAnalyze bestsellers (e.g., bestselling price points, colours or styles)Monitor slow sellers and take action to improve performanceSuggest in-season actions to maximize sales and profit opportunitiesOrganize weekly replenishment and stock consolidation from our warehouseEnsure proper presentation of the online assortment, including product information, category information and website merchandisingDrive changes to online category strategy based on customer and competitive insights, brand strategy and e-commerce goals and initiativesWork collaboratively with the marketing team to maximise sales and profit and being commercially market aware as to ensure new trends are capitalizedOversee product photography team ensuring that images are meeting our set high standards and are uploaded appropriately into our system. QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary education in Retail Management, Business Management or E-Commerce with 3-5 years relevant experienceStrong analytical and numerical skillsHighly organized and structuredStrong Excel KnowledgeStrong sense of urgency and the ability to work in fast paced sales environmentExceptional communication skills - you enjoy working in a team settingDetail-oriented, with exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to multi-taskAbility to plan and prioritizeExperience in a buying/merchandising role is highly desiredPassion for retail excellence, entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to grow online businessExcellent working knowledge of online retailing, and online analyticsCreative thinker and problem solver with the desire to "make things happen".
