Job Responsibilities As a Business Development Representative, you will work in a progressive forward-thinking team, taking creating relationships with new and existing Businesses regarding their commercial telecommunications services. Your Specific Duties Will Include: • Handling customer issues, questions, and selling cable and internet products • Selling products to new customers and up-selling or adding new products to existing customer accounts • Processing new sales orders from start to finish • Documenting all sales calls • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly personal and team quotas and goals • Maintaining availability to work a very flexible full-time schedule any time between 8am-6pm Monday, with occassional Saturdays Job Requirements: As a Business Development Representative, you must be an outgoing, motivated and extremely coach-able individual with the ability to easily learn our client's consultative sales process. You must also be highly perceptive and flexible in your interactions with customers, with the ability to accurately read a given situation. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to easily establish rapport with a diverse range of people. Specific Qualifications for the Business Development Representative Position Include: • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a customer-facing and consultative sales role; experience in the telecommunications industry preferred • Availability to work a very flexible schedule between 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, • Ability to learn and to accept coaching and feedback • Ability to meet daily quotas and goals • Desire to grow and advance professionally • Strong technical skills/savvy • Solid customer service skills • Exceptional listening and problem-solving skills • Ability to pass a criminal background check and reference checks (18 years or older) • Prior sales and customer service experience, a plus Benefits: As a Business Development Representative working with The Acquisition Group, you will have a foot in the door with one of the Western Canada's' largest and most dynamic telecommunications service companies.
