We are currently seeking a Commercial Manager for our Technical Services contracts to be responsible for the Commercial Governance of Sector contracts, reviewing contract documentation and auditing at site level.
You will be involved in driving forward Commercial Compliance on all contracts in liaison with the Finance and Operational Teams, providing ad-hoc contract management support and contract expertise to the site
Contract teams, as required.
You will be accountable for the commercial management of the contracts through engagement against set terms and conditions, to sub-contract agreement.
Overall you will provide high quality value added analysis to support the commercial decision making processes on the contracts.
Reviewing contract documentation terms & conditions Ensuring Contract Operations teams have the required Commercial information to manage their respective contractsRegular Commercial Audits of contracts, initiating auction plans and ensuring progress against the plansLiaising with Contract Management to ensure annual reviews are carried out with the Client and any contractual increases are calculated and agreedVariations to contract are to be managed with the Operations & Finance Teams to ensure CompanyGovernance is adhered to and correct contract values are realisedCommercial Risk Management Plans to be compiled and regularly reviewed and updatedReviewing Operations to ensure Contract Compliance is being adhered toInvolvement with Business Development during tender exercises, reviewing contract terms and conditions, bid pricing etcInvolved with liaising with contract supply chain, to resolve contract queries and negotiate contract termsProvide support to the process of reconciling a large number of existing suppliers across a number of service streams, through tender and negotiation of termsProvide guidance and support to the commercial, finance and procurement teams Provide ad-hoc commercial & contract support to contract operational team as required
What we are looking for
- Hard Services FM / Quantity Surveying
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Microsoft Excel knowledge to an intermediate/advanced level
- A thorough understanding of key commercial function processes through experience within a similar role i.e. contract auditing, contract terms & conditions review
- Commercial Risk Management
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage own time effectively
- Experience in progressing contract variations from initiation to agreement
- Client facing experience
- Contract drafting and negotiation experience
- 40 Hours worked per week
