As an Improvement Project Analyst you will be required to support the management and delivery of a portfolio of projects within Wholesale Transformation and ensure appropriate governance of the portfolio with rigour and adherence to Severn Trent's change and project methodologies, ensuring accountability and responsibility are formally agreed and recognised. It is expected that you will be able to manage portfolio issues, risks and dependencies on a sustainable basis and initiate timely corrective action as required also you will be required to put in place necessary reporting to ensure that there is a consistent delivery of the projects within the portfolio to time, cost, benefit and quality and that exceptions, slippage and issues of priority are visible, prioritised and addressed.
The successful candidate will have experience in Project Management Office (PMO) or project management, knowledge and experience of preparing reports, status, results, recommendations and effective presentation and communication skills to ensure transparency of delivery and results. You'll be equipped with the confidence to challenge at all levels in a constructive and appropriate way, good communication and influencing skills at all levels in the organisation and the ability to manage multiple activities to tight deadlines. Good IT Skills and GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English are vital to be successful in this role.
