Are you a sheltered scheme manager looking for your next role? Then keep on reading! As my client from a local authority in West London is looking to appoint a contractor for an initial 3 month period, paying up to £16 an hour!
Duties and responsibilities
1 To visit tenants daily and monitor their general well being.
2 To provide temporary assistance to tenants during illness or following discharge from hospital with everyday tasks such as shopping, preparing light meals until assistance can be provided by the appropriate agencies.
3 To assist prospective tenants with their offer of accommodation, and provide assistance and support during the settling-in period and with their emotional adjustment to the move.
4 To liaise with GPs, social workers, community workers, other outside agencies, relatives, other sections within the Housing Department and staff in other departments as necessary.
5 To be responsible for the care and security of the building, its fixtures and fittings, and to maintain an inventory of items in communal areas.
The suitable candidate must have previous experience as a sheltered scheme manager in either a council or housing association, if you feel this role may be of interest place submit your CV or for more info contact Harry on NA
