Reporting to the Production Stream Manager, the Production Stream Engineering Group Leader will be responsible for managing engineering activities to support the delivery of the Prodtion stream KPI's. The purpose of the role is to optimise the Production Stream conversion process using KAMS (Kerry Asset Management System) and KPS (Kerry production System). This is a full time permanent position based in Hyde

Key Responsibilities:

High Performing Teams (Build Sustainability Through People): Lead the Production Stream team to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and team work. Build trust through effective leadership and the skilled application of people management

Maintenance Process (Process Reliability): Create and maintain an Asset Management programme for the Production Stream to meet the requirements of KAMS.

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Identify, prioritise, plan and schedule Production Stream maintenance

activities (including training). Apply business risk assessments to prioritise work.

Create & implement project & shutdown plans for the Production Stream.

Provide production planner with 1 - 13 week maintenance plan.

Ensure all engineering work carried out in the Production Stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.

Manage Maintenance Materials & Spend: In conjunction with the Process Equipment Engineer identify, source, maintain

& manage obsolescence of material spares, tools and equipment for use in the Production Stream. Actively work on cost reduction of top usage/cost items through problem solving.

Document Standard Work & Standard Confirmation: Document and train maintenance Standard Work.

Check that standards set within the Production Stream are adhered to through standard confirmation.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve standards set by facilitating and executing 8 Step

Practical Problem Solving or other appropriate KPS methodologies within the Production Stream and perform gap analysis on manufacturing data to understand where to focus/prioritise problem solving efforts.

Manage Health and Safety: Conduct risk assessment on processes and tasks in the Production Stream, implement countermeasures and mitigation plans to address identified risks.

Apply all required permits to work (including contractor control).

Ensure relevant legal & regulatory requirements are adhered to e.g. machine guarding, noise, pressure vessels etc.

Project Design & Delivery: As part of a wider project team assist and manage the delivery of key projects

that have an impact on the Production Stream (e.g. Jishuken, Capital, NPD)

Asset Management Master Data:Maintain all asset related master data as required under KAMS e.g. machine

settings, manuals, PLC programmes etc.

Skills Required:

Relevant Third Level Engineering qualification or recognised, standards based time served apprenticeship
