Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role of the Payroll Assistant is a key member of a small and high performing finance team. This is an opportunity for a Part time worker to join a positive team and work fairly flexible hours.

Payroll Assistant
Scope and Responsibilities
• Reconciliation of worked overtime to authorised hours
• Updating shift patterns on company time and attendance system
• Processing holiday forms calculation of employee entitlement
• Transferring hours from time and attendance system to Sage Payroll
• Ensuring employee pay details are correct (Rates / deductions / adjustments)
• Sick pay calculations
• Processing tax codes, starters and leavers
• Preparing bacs payments and ensuring electronic payslips are issued
• RTI Submissions

Payroll Assistant
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
• Formal Payroll qualification (Not essential)
• Experience on Sage payroll
• Strong IT skills (including advanced Excel)
• Attention to detail

25hrs per week, £13,157k actual salary

Must work Monday & Tuesday
