Project Engineer - Cheshire - Automation / System Integration - £40-55k + package|
Samuel Frank Associates is now recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a very well regarded system integrator in the North West. The successful hire will have a demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of projects encompassing control solutions within some of the following sectors - Food, Utilities, FMCG, Process and/or Materials Handling industries.
Degree in a relevant IT or Engineering subject and member of the relevant engineering bodies.
10 or more years' experience in the automation industry
5 or more years of demonstrable Project Engineering/Management/Delivery experience
Your skill/experience profile will include:
Technical development/leadership of project activities
Design documentation, configuration of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Testing and commissioning (Experience in some of the following is expected - Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Wonderware, Schneider).
Design and implementation of control systems, coupled with the ability to communicate and present
Strong commercial acumen
High calibre ambitious and self-starter, control and automation professional, capable of operating at high level within the company.
Excellent written and communication skills

Control system software design and implementation
Control system hardware design
Electrical control panel design (not essential)
Liaison with clients
Work as part of a team or alone with senior guidance as required
Participating in the tendering process
Report writing and surveying
Industrial Ethernet network design and testing
The office location is commutable from most of Cheshire including places such as Manchester, Liverpool, Runcorn, Warrington, Stockport, Widnes, Chester and Northwich
