Site Manager, Residential Development, West London |
Temp to Perm Opportunity for the right candidate; Salary to £65k plus benefits
The role will encompass the responsibility of managing and coordinating all aspects of a residential development in West London.
The new build development comprises 70 units in 3 blocks of flats, with a traditional and steel frame construction
You will be managing all the subcontractors including groundworks, piling, and steelworks through to the finishing trades for the development.
You will report into a Project Manager but will be the No 1 on site, so good programming and management skills are required.
-Manage all specialist contractors and direct labour
-Deliver against deadlines and budget constraints
-Ensure all site work is delivered to a high quality standard
-Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are implemented and adhered to
-Ensure that all orders and placements of materials are administered according to site requirements
-Ensure latest building regulations and NHBC requirements are implemented and adhered to
-Effective supervision of the project
-Control of specific designated sites
-Management and supervision of programme
-Adherence to Quality Control -Management of Staff performance and Appraisal
-Support and monitor HSE implementation -Represent sites in DC meetings
-Cost control monitoring and reporting
-Target date and achievements met as agreed -Inspection reporting -Cost control monitoring and reporting
You will have extensive experience in a site management role in residential development, hold extensive experience of managing specialist sub contractors and direct labour and have experience of delivering within set budgets.
You will be up to date with building regulation, NHBC, CDM, IOSH, First Aid and hold a valid CSCS card. If you wish to apply you must be able to read, implement and fully understand drawings, schedules, bills of quantity, specifications and tender documents. Preferably a trade background.
