A unique opportunity has arisen with our client, a successful RC Detailing company. Having been established in the USA since 2010 with an annual turnover of $6.4 Million they are now in a position to expand, seeking to replicate the success of their USA business model here in the UK.|
Their project expertise in the US is a mix, typically schools, residential, government, hotel, leisure, healthcare and industrial. The size of jobs range from a few hundred Tons to 8,000 Tons steel, they have done close to 2,000 projects to date. They are the 2nd largest global user of the software CADS RC, with around 70 staff using it full time.
We are seeking a UK based Operations Manager who will effectively be their first UK employee, where you will assist in setting up and running the UK office.
• Approaching clients to win new and repeat business
• Agreeing prices and project delivery details
• Programming the work, setting up the project and delivery
• Being the link between client and detailing team
• Site visits with client where necessary
• Raising RFIs
• Costing jobs
• Final approval of drawings before handover
We are looking for someone who is client facing, has experience managing teams of designers and excellent UK industry knowledge and contacts. You should have previously held the position of CAD Manager and have hands-on experience as an RC Detailer using CADS-RC.
Salary is very negotiable, our client is more interested in securing the right person. There is also a car allowance of £5k, pension, healthcare and mobile phone provided. There is also the potential for bonus/profit share options once the UK business is established.
As they are setting up their first UK office, they are able to base this role local to the successful candidate. Preferably this will be near to a metropolitan centre such as Birmingham, Manchester, London etc.
