Job Title: Contracts Assistant

Role Outline

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, your primary role will be to ensure that projects are run efficiently, profitably and that all contract conditions are complied with.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates that are able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential; although you must be confident in dealing with customers, suppliers and construction workers. In return you will be working for a forward thinking company that will offer training, mentoring and the opportunity to progress to managing your own portfolio of works.

Please note due to the nature of this role, applicants will need to hold a full driving licence.


Attend pre-start/order meetings alongside Contracts Manager

Attend site prior to works starting to ensure areas are ready and issue all relevant paperwork

Attend weekly site meetings, enforcing and monitoring onsite Health & Safety practices and regulations

Attend progress meetings with other employees to discuss projects

Monitor and report on job profitability

Attend site post application to sign off works where required and issue/complete any other relevant paperwork

Assisting with the preparation of tenders

Ensure that excellent levels of customer care are provided at all times


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
