Our client is a Midlands based building contractor with various housing projects across the East and West Midlands. We are currently looking for an experienced site manager for an eight-week assignment, building housing in Heanor.|
Reporting to the contracts manager you will take responsibility for the day to day running of the project. You will ensure safety and quality are upheld, liaising with the staff in the office, subcontractors and suppliers, keeping a detailed site record and organising materials whilst managing the staff on site.
This contract is due to start on Monday 17th October for eight weeks and the hours of work will be approximately 7:30 - 5pm Monday to Friday, although there may be additional hours available to suit the needs of the project.
To be successful in the role you will have previous experience as a Site Manager on residential new build projects, you will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a budget and good problem-solving skills.
It is an essential requirement of the role that the successful applicants hold SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates. It is also desirable that you hold membership of a recognised professional body, be educated to degree level or equivalent and have previous experience in a similar role.
