A well-established leading mechanical and electrical contractor in the UK are looking for a SHE Advisor to join their existing team. My client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic health & Safety professional who is willing to train and develop. |
The role itself is supporting site based construction teams travelling to sites in and around London. This role will find you conducting accident and incident investigations and audits so experience in this will be needed as well as have strong level of knowledge in management systems, Health & Safety legislation and construction site safety.
They deliver and install mechanical and electrical equipment on a large scale, so experience is needed in the construction fit out environment. This is a real site based role and the client is seeking evidence of working successfully with a range of operational teams and hold good technical knowledge.
From traffic signage to security & access control to air handling units & ventilation fans, the list is endless, they cover a wide variety of big construction sectors.
Ideally the client is looking for a candidate who holds NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level, however they will also consider candidates with lesser qualifications who can demonstrate strong practical health and safety role experience on construction building sites and strong influencing skills and is willing to learn.
Minimum qualification is NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction Certificate NCRQ or equivalent.
They are supportive with CPD.
You would be required to work night shifts split with day shifts.
