An exciting and challenging role has arisen for a highly experienced and committed Quantity Surveyor (geotechnical/piling/rail experience preferable) to work for a well established and highly successful geotechnical engineering contractor. The business' wide range of clients, from private blue chip businesses to public sector organisations, are located across the country with a particular focus on Rail and Pre-Cast foundation work with diverse contracts ranging from£1.3m-£26m.|
The group is highly recognised in the sector for their innovation, technical excellence and expertise; they were the proud winners of the 'Ground Engineering Contractor of the Year' award at the 2015 Construction News Awards. The successful applicant will possess a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying (HND or BSc) and have extensive experience of quantity surveying within the piling/geotechnical sector with a focus on monitoring contract costs, identifying potential risks and ensuring contract compliance against statutory requirements. You will be an integral member of the team tasked with overall commercial responsibility for a diverse range of projects, and will need to have a solid track record of successfully delivering projects in a competitive environment. This position will allow the successful candidate to expand their current skill set in this specialist environment. Salary is up to £50k dependant on experience, company vehicle/car allowance, life insurance, pension and profit sharing bonus scheme.
