Our client is looking for an experienced B2B Software Product Manager to drive the commercial success of their software platforms. These data-driven solutions are critical in enabling large manage their business. This is a fixed term opportunity on a pro rata salary o to cover maternity for 13 months. With full product lifecycle and roadmap ownership, the Product Manager sits at the centre of what they do. You will be responsible for securing business cases, capturing market requirements, and working with the development, customer service and operations teams to ensure that market benefits are realised. Your challenge is to launch market leading products, and to maintain that edge through continuous innovation and relentless market focus. You must be able to build strong relationships with customers, achieving rapid market penetration by balancing the needs of both large and small customers with strategic objectives. To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have some sort of formal Product Management training. A Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification would be useful, but again not essential, however you will be an effective communicator and presenter. Experience of operational B2B software platforms used in secure enterprise IT environments would be significantly advantageous, in addition to a data driven product approach feeling confident in working with big data and statistical models. Experience of decision and rules based engines would be a plus. An ability to document epic requirements in tools such as JIRA and also more traditional formats would be advantageous for us. It is essential that you have a natural ability to elicit market requirements (i.e. workshop facilitation), possessing an inquisitive desire to carry out market research and competitor analysis.
