ICT Service Desk / ICT Service Desk / Helpdesk Assistant|
£19,723-£21,914 per annum
Committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service, our client provides a comprehensive range of services to approximately 5,800 homes in and around North Yorkshire.
Our client is currently looking for a technically minded individual to assist with their ICT Service Desk. The purpose of the role is to support staff with hardware and software issues linked to operational activities and development projects.
Providing a day to day first line desktop support service for users, you'll be on hand to assist with the installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of servers, pc's, printers and scanners. You'll also provide administrative support by operating the service desk and assisting with procurement and hardware / software asset management.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role along with a relevant ICT related qualification. You'll be familiar with Microsoft Active Directory and Citrix Terminal services and will already have experience working with ICT helpdesk systems.
Methodical and analytical in your approach, you'll be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and will be able to explain technical issues in a non-technical way. A full driving licence is also required as you may be required to travel to other locations from time to time.
