Our client's growth is as a result of their new client wins! They are looking for enthusiastic Software Project Managers to work with their team and clients.
Software Project Manager Summary
The role of Software Project Manager will include delivering critical projects on time and to budget and the ability to manage resource both internally and externally. Time will need to be spent on site with clients, liaising with them to ensure that tight deadlines are met and the solution is delivered within the agreed timescale.
The Software Project Manager is accountable for managing the full lifecycle of software development projects from initiation, planning, developing and testing to implementation and delivery. The project budgets you will be working with range from £80k to £2m and you will be working with our client's bespoke loan management solution backed up by 20 years in the industry.
Software Project Manager Responsibilities will include:
• Managing and co-ordinating multiple projects
• Planning project deliverables taking into consideration risk, impact, resource and contingency
• Liaising with the client throughout the project life cycle
• Delivering an end to end solution
• Helping the Account Manager to manage relationships with customers
• Working closely with the development team to build the solution
• Managing plans, risks and issue
• Track and report on the project progress
• Motivate and encourage the project team
• Following the project process
Our client is in search of people who can help them to deliver satisfaction and excellent service to their clients. You'll need to have a proven track record as a Project Manager within a commercial environment and must have experience of the financial services sector and software delivery. You must, must, must be able to plan and organise your workload and your client to meet the deadlines. They are looking for individuals who have undergone PRINCE 2 training and qualification or equivalent.
