A leading supplier of traditional and sustainable contstruction materials now urgently require two Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join their dedicated and skilled team to provide electrical and mechanical support on a variety of plant.|
As a Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities will be to provide electrical support to two 24 hour manufacturing facilities and a secondary processing plant. Day-to-day responsibilities will include the planned and reactive maintenance of plant including mixing machines, conveyors and bagging lines. The successful candidates will be working with fully automated and electrically controlled machinery, in addition to general plant facilities/services. A flexible approach to working hours and a proactive/analytical disposition is required for these positions.
This role would be very well suited to an Engineer keen on a heavier involvement in project work, continuous improvement projects and planned maintenance/upgrades.
* Time served electrical engineering apprenticeship would be ideal
* 17th edition wiring regulations
* PLC fault finding ability (modification highly advantageous) - Allen Bradley or Siemens S7 highly advantageous
* Robots experience would be beneficial though not crucial
* Strong hydraulic & pneumatic experience
* Proven track record in functional safety/safety-related control systems for machinery
* Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Working a 3 shift system (06:00 - 14:15/14:00 - 22:00/22:00 - 06:15)) our client are offering a very competitive salary (flexible for the right candidate), with benefits including annual bonus, 5% pension contribution & 24 days holiday + stats.
This role is commutable from Leighton Buzzard, Eggington, Clipstone, Billington, Soulbury and Grove.
