A high flying and rapidly developing specialist engineering group, our client has a prestigious list of global clients in a range of diverse sectors including; Rail, Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Power, and many others. They successfully deliver time-critical engineered solutions to all of the above, in most parts of the world. They are now seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team in Burton-on-Trent.
Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and breakdowns maintenance on a variety of production machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC and plastic extrusion.
Responsibilities will include:
* Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
* Installing new systems
* Responding to breakdowns
* Diagnosing faults
* Repairing equipment
* Obtaining specialist components fixtures and fittings
* Maintaining records
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
* Creating maintenance procedures
* Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
The successful candidate will have a good level of experience working in multi engineering disciplines with both electrical and mechanical skillsets.
