Job Description:

My client, a large 3rd Party Commercial Property Management firm is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor for a portfolio of properties in Calgary. The position reports to the Senior Property Manager and serves as the primary point of contact for the day to day operations of the facility. This position oversees all aspects of building operations, including managing Building Operators, monitoring of the building management control system, computerized maintenance management system, preventive maintenance, custodial operations, grounds care, building envelope and service requests. • Oversee all aspects of building operations at assigned sites, including the Preventative Maintenance Program
• Work closely with Property Managers in effectively carrying out property management activities, serving both as a gauge of service quality as well as a technical resource within areas of responsibility
• Leads and mentors building operators, maintenance and caretaking personnel
• Ensure that the terms of contracts are met including reporting requirements and that specified standards are adhered to in accordance with contract provisions
• Utilize asset management software to track preventive maintenance tasks and address tenant service requests
• Portray a favourable image of the organization as the front-line contact with clients/tenants and sub-contractors

• Valid "new" 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate and related trades experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in building operations, preferably in a commercial office and industrial environment
• Excellent knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, life safety, HVAC, landscaping, snow removal, caretaking, etc.)
• Ability to work with multiple clients to facilitate work, address issues and manage concerns
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills to effectively work with a property management team
• Valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
