My client, a market leading, international multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join an established Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Team based in Glasgow.|
This exciting role will offer you the chance to join an innovative team based in Central Glasgow to work on large scale Flood Risk, Flood Alleviation, Drainage and Coastal Engineering Projects for Housing Developers, Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
As a Flood Risk Consultant you will be required to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Alleviation Schemes, Flood Estimation, Surface Water Management Plans, Coastal Sea Defence, Drainage Strategy and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro or Tuflow.

Applicants are required to have a BSc and MSc in a relevant discipline including Hydrology, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering and ideally have two years + experience working for a Local Authority or Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments, Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro or Tuflow and/or Drainage Strategy and Design using Microdrainge.
Applicants are also required to have a keen interest in Coastal Sea Defence and Flood Alleviation.
It is also beneficial for Applicants to reside locally and have experience using AutoCAD.
