Bid WriterCrawley35,000 - 37,000 per annumFull timeOur well known and established client is currently recruiting for a Bid Writer to join their busy team based in NA: * You are required to provide support to both Solution Leads and Bid Managers as well as conducting responses to both client's requirements and company solutions * You are to liaise with members of the Commercial, Procurement, Project engineering, Bidding, and Strategy Team and the wider support services in developing and completing written responses for bids * Researching and liaising with specialists and departments to obtain the relevant information you require to allow written solutions to be developed and considered * It's important you also attend Bid solutions meeting when required, and provide input to prequalification and tender submissions when directed * You are also to provide support to the maintenance and development of internal Bid processes and gather and update evidence library when required * You will carry out your duties in a way which underpins our clients beliefs and values clearly * You are to challenge protocols and practices where suitable, contributing to the improvement and success of tenders and company performance * You will demonstrate your relevant experience, qualifications and training for this position * Ensuring written responses for tender submissions and prequalification's are completed in an efficient manner and in accordance with agreed deliverables is of the utmost importance * Your responsibilities will also include ensuring issues and information that is communicated is considered when developing and completing your written solutions * Provide input to the lessons learnt process, taken from your involvement and experience with previous submissions * You will generate written responses which are compliant, clear, customer focused and completed to a high standardIt is desirable if: * You have proven experience within producing tender submission documents as well as written commentaries and prequalification's * Experience of working within civil engineering and highway sectors, or related industries is evident * You understand the technical and operational issues and considerations, to allow for the compilation of written solutions to support bidding opportunitiesSkills and Attributes: * Excellent verbal communication and written skills* The ability to work well both within a working team and individually* The ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure* To be able to research and deduce information * IT competent* Excellent organisational and time management skills * A flexible approach to work* The ability to travel and work away from home when required* An enthusiastic approach to continual development* It is not essential, but industry knowledge and graphic design skills would be desirableIf you feel you are suitable for this role then please contact Mike Dawes on or apply today to this amazing opportunity!
