Job Description

Reporting to the Manager Information Systems, you will be responsible for managing a small team of Technical Specialists who run and maintain the Nickel West IM Infrastructure environment.

Committed to developing a culture driven by safety, quality, cost and continuous improvement, we are seeking a person with a high degree of initiative, drive and a strong desire to work in a team oriented environment. Your superior communication, negotiation, technical and leadership skills along with your ability to plan work, allocate resources and monitor progress is essential in this role.

Skills and Requirements
  • Leadership qualities that encourage and promote high performance.
  • A strong Technical understanding of the Nickel West Infrastructure components including Microsoft server products, Cisco Networks, Checkpoint firewall, HP Blades & VMWare & NetApp SAN technology.
  • Strategic planning & Hardware lifecycle management
  • Tertiary Qualifications and/or strong equivalent experience in leading an Infrastructure team.
