As an IVVQ / Avionics Validation Engineer based in Harwell, you’ll work on the NEOSAT program and participate to the validation of the new Avionics MK2 for NEOSAT focusing on the attitude control system, electric propulsion and associated FDIR/System tests. This is your opportunity to join and be part of the growth of an exciting venture in the UK. Subject to your experience you may need to spend substantial time with TAS France training for the first 12 months.

Key responsibilities
  • NEOSAT Avionics Validation activities (focused on AOCS, GNSS, Propulsion) in cooperation with TAS France
  • Participate to the deployment and commissioning of the emulated Avionics Test Bench at TAS-UK
  • Contribute to TAS development in UK
  • Analyses the test requirements provided by the different subsystems (propulsion, AOCS, GNSS)
  • Preparing the test procedures, executing the tests on an Avionics Test Bench including all test means (real hardware and/or simulated models)
  • Analyses the test results and establishes test reports, and participates to anomaly investigation and resolution
  • In charge of preparing and coordinating the transition for the duplication of the Avionics Test Bench at TAS UK
  • Working closely with the program management office, the TAS-France Avionics Validation Manager and other subsystems (Electrical Propulsion, AOCS, Data Handling)
  • Responsible of the product competitiveness.
Skills, qualifications and experience
  • Engineering degree - specialization in space application, electronics or software is preferable
  • Knowledge of AOCS/GNC
  • Interface with Propulsion, Data Handling and AOCS
  • Experience of Avionics validation or IVVQ would be an asset
  • Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment
  • Proven experience with customer, partners and supplier interface
  • Ideally experience in space domain, although a avionics background will be considered
