Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure vehicle availability according to contractual requirements by driving & guiding warranty, stores, retrofit and commissioning teams and deliver outcomes within agreed budgets/schedules. Implements and enforces HSE requirements on site with support from HSE representative.
2. Establish & maintain strong functional relationship with the customer, proactively liaison with it for commissioning & operations/major failures and ensure knowledge transfer to customer team as per the contract terms as also thru sharing of product manuals/updates.
3. Responsible, together with PM and customer site manager, to establish the strategy and mobilization plan for PI in service, including the clear definition and agreement for the use of the customer's infrastructure, installations for major customer replacements, implementation of rigorous incident management organization, the follow up of the NCR's, the open items list quick solutions and the AVM's/retrofit implementation through the management control centre; the engagement of suppliers and the related claim management.
4. To develop, train and nurture the PI project team so as to enable them to achieve established budget, quality and customer satisfaction goals, and also appropriately support career progression, with the objective of ensuring availability of adequately skilled resources for PI.

Qualification & Experience:

B.E in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 8 years working knowledge & experience of Field Engineering with technical background in Complete Train Level/ Rolling Stock Products and Design.
