The company is looking for a motivated Server Administrator to join their small IT team in Lutterworth. You might be a Server Admin with extensive experience, or even a recent graduate. If so our client wants to hear from you! THE ROLE: We are seeking a capable Server Administrator to join a small team in Lutterworth. Reporting directly to the IT Director you will be responsible for administering hardware, operating systems and core applications on server infrastructure. This will include performance monitoring, operations planning, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Key Responsibilities to include:- Server Administrator - Lutterworth. • Virtualising and consolidating standalone servers.• Ensuring availability and performance compliance to SLA's.• Developing server build images and processes including automatic deployment technologies.• Installing server based applications and configuring new hardware and software.• Performing maintenance tasks such as patch levels, firmware upgrades and backups.• Monitoring, investigating and reporting breaches in performance.• Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems• Creating SQL queries for use in BI reporting (SQL 2012) THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will have the ability and willingness to learn and support new systems and applications and will be a proactive, self-motivated team player. You will have a demonstrable attention to detail with a strong 'right first every time' attitude.
