My client is a well respected regional contractor based in Oxford. Due to new contracts secured and growth within the business a new role has arisen as a Senior Site Manager. This role is to aid in the construction of various schemes in the Thames Valley area, namely including a £4 Million student accomodation block in Central Oxford. My client has a fantastic track record of successful and well reknowned projects and their portfolio ranges from commercial, education, health care & industrial with value of contracts ranging from £3 Million to £30 Million. Predominantly they operate within a geographical area of Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bedforshire and Wiltshire.
The Senior Site Manager will be managing the construction process for traditional, design and build contracts and act as the main point of contact for for client and sub contractors. This role entails working alongside a Senior Construction Manager who will visit the project bi-weekly. This project is giving someone the opportunity to run a scheme as a project lead.
* To manage the construction process for traditional D&B, JCT and NEC contracts.
* Support for Senior Construction Manager
* Provide main contact for the client and subcontractors.
* Coordinate programme.
* Compliance checks again specifications.
* Compliance checks against clients requirements.
