The organization is a Design and Build M&E specialist. Taking projects from tender phase they project manage the delivery of diverse Construction & Infrastructure projects for a number of clients. The company delivers projects through the phases of feasibility, design, construction and operation. They undertake major projects within the sectors of Highways, Railways, Airports, and utilities sectors.
As a result of a number of new project wins, the company is now looking to enhance their Cost Management team with a M&E Project Quantity Surveyor.
As a M&E Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be accountable for the commercial management of a diverse range of projects within the Rail & Airports Infrastructure environment. Your responsibilities will include forecasting actual project costs by co-ordinating, assessing and integrating individual stakeholder forecasts and agreeing the forecast costs with the individual stakeholders.
As a M&E Project Quantity Surveyor, you will also be involved in analysing areas of over-expenditure and under-expenditure to identify the relevant work scope and feedback to the project delivery teams. A key role, you will also identify area's of commercial risk to the delivery of a contract and ensure that these are identified and mitigation plans are in place.
The successful candidate will have worked as a M&E Project Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure contracts within the Rail or Airports environment.

To be considered for the position you must have/be all of the following:
Educated to a minimum level of HNC in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Cost Management, Construction Management
M&E Quantity Surveying experience
Substantial NEC and IEC contract experience
Strong Commercial Acumen.
Strong Man Management skills.
Good client development skills.
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
