I am recruiting for a Business Development Manager/New Business Hunter to join an established telecommunications organisation. As the Business Development manager you will be working for a partner services specialist in B2B (business to business) sales, providing end to end support services to businesses offering mobile and fixed line telecom services to SME's. You will have a new business lead generation team generating meetings for you to attend, this will be a 50/50 split in which case you would be targeted on around 10 appointments, 5 of which will be generated for you and 5 you will generate through new business. This role has a fantastic perk with double OTE, a company car and a brilliant commission plan (14% over £10k/17% over £13k/25% over £17.5k). This vacancy is due to this organisations financial growth in 2015. They are looking to bring on a Business Development Manager with experience of selling into the SME market and a good understanding of Mobile and Fixed Line.

The role of a Business Development Manager/New Business Hunter;
- Understanding of the telecommunications industry
- The ability to maximise growth within the organisation by understanding the key benefits and capabilities of the business
- Generate meetings through new business/Attend meetings generated by the lead generation team
- Strong ability to close business at meeting stage
- Capable to maximise revenue and grow margin from both new and existing clients
- To operate with strong commercial awareness and ensure quality business is generated and retained

Desired skills and experience;
- Strong experience of mobile and fixed line solutions
- Knowledge and experience of the essential UK networks eg. EE, O2, Vodafone etc.
- Strong ability to present the strengths/capabilities of the business
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent written and communications skills
