VENDOR MANAGER - TESTING required to work for a large telecommunications company based in Berkshire|
The Vendor Manager - Testing supports ICT testing and will mainly interface into the Technical Delivery Managers, who require testing to be performed around their projects. The Vendor Manager - Testing will be responsible in ensuring requests are relayed correctly, and that the Vendor's delivery is in line with contractual SLA's and that quality is assured. Ultimately they need to ensure the Vendor performs what they are contracted to, so they will need to be able to challenge, negotiate and manage the vendor effectively.
The successful Vendor Manager - Testing will have:
* A background in Test as need to have a good operational understanding of a testing environment.
* Must have a good understanding of SDLC (Software Delivery Lifecycle)
* Strong relationship management and vendor management experience as well, and if not then possibly some Project Management experience where you have been assuring 3rd party performance
* Telco not essential, but must have working in a similar IT environment
